Planning: Actors

I am personally undertaking the acting role of the antagonist, while i have recruted a friend to play the role of the protaganist. The reasons are simple for my choices, the costume is fairly uncomfortable for the antagonist and the face mask can get very hot underneath it, therefore it is important that someone who is not going to complain does it, by doing it myself i ensure that the person doing it will not need to frequently stop filming. The protagonist was chosen, because they could drive and had a car as well as having an interrest in acting.

Technology issues

After doing the original filming for my coursework on HD Toshiba Handy cam and transferring it into school, I realised that the Macs where too old to support AVI format and the codec required was not compatible with it, after attempting to convert it , with little success due to the loss of quality. There where many failed attempts to convert until, in the end, the school was forced too buy a brand new Mac, to replace one of the antiquated older models. This has really slowed down the process of editing. The filming was done in January yet the editing is still ongoing because it was so delayed. However, now that the problems have been overcome, the filming is very good quality.

Snow

After the first set of filming, there are places where there is visible frost on the ground due to the cold weather and even snow in a few place, where refilming is redone it will be important to make sure the ground is avoided so that it wont be clear that the weather has changed.
